Thanks Dee! And to all the rest of you - independently owned record stores are like The Godz and American Dog, "Last of a Dying Breed". We NEED your support. We will listen to you. We will bring you the music you want when you want it. Our big-box store competition is selling a lot of the same stuff we do for ridiculously low prices. Guess what - that drives our costs up. Don't let them get away with it!

Dan,
It's a tough business for sure. Just like your local guitar shop will never be able to compete with a Guitar Center type company. You just can't have the same buying power and the ability to assume and weather that much risk level. Good luck to ya!

Thanks for the 'atta boy. Your right, it's a tough business. You definitely gotta have a love for the game to keep on. It's discouraging sometimes, but you press on. Anytime your out in the sticks, Mike, stop in and be friendly. I'll be lookin' for ya.

I go to a place in Kent called Spin-More records...if he doesn't have it, he can usually get it...it is an awesome store...they have used cd's, 45's, and they'll burn discs of any record in the store for 12 bucks, I think. They even have the latest records on 33 1/3...cool store. P.S. They won't just arbitrarily burn any vinyl for you; you have to purchase the record first, then they'll burn it. Then, maybe you can come back the next day and sell the album back?? (ha ha) Still, a great store. If they don't have it, they'll try to get it for you.
